Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Pork belly
  • 8 cups Water
  • 2 oz Tamarind soup base
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 medium Tomatoes
  • 1 bunch Kangkong (water spinach)
  • 1 cup String beans
  • 1 medium Radish
  • 1 cup Okra
  • 1 tbsp Fish sauce

Instructions

  1. 1In a large pot, boil pork belly in water until tender, about 45 minutes.
  2. 2Add onion and tomatoes, and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. 3Stir in tamarind soup base and fish sauce.
  4. 4Add radish, string beans, and okra, and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. 5Add kangkong and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
  6. 6Serve hot.
