Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Chicken or Turkey
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Anise Seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 8 Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Milk or Dairy-Free Milk
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 4 Pandesal Rolls

Instructions

  1. 1In a bowl, combine ground chicken or turkey, brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, paprika, anise seeds, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
  2. 2Heat cooking oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned ground meat and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through.
  3. 3In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk (or dairy-free milk), and salt.
  4. 4Pour the egg mixture into the skillet with the cooked ground meat. Scramble until the eggs are cooked to your liking.
  5. 5Serve the Longganisa scramble with warm pandesal rolls on the side.
