Ingredients

  • 1 lb Padrón Peppers
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt

Instructions

  1. 1Place a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the skillet.
  2. 2Once the olive oil is shimmering, carefully add the 1 lb of Padrón peppers to the hot skillet. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes, turning the peppers occasionally with tongs.
  3. 3Continue cooking until the peppers are blistered on most sides and slightly softened. You will see some skins charring and puffing up.
  4. 4Remove the skillet from the heat. Transfer the blistered Padrón peppers to a serving plate.
  5. 5Sprinkle the 1 teaspoon of sea salt evenly over the hot peppers.
  6. 6Serve the Pimientos de Padrón immediately while they are still warm.
