Ingredients

  • 1 lb Green beans
  • 1 cup Rice flour
  • 0.5 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 cup Sparkling water
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil

Instructions

  2. 2In a bowl, whisk together rice flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3Gradually add sparkling water, whisking until a smooth batter forms.
  4. 4Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or pot over medium-high heat.
  5. 5Dip each green bean into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
  6. 6Carefully place the battered green beans into the hot oil, working in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
  7. 7Fry for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
