Ingredients

  • 1 lb Paneer (Indian cheese), cubed
  • 10 oz Fresh spinach
  • 1 medium Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 medium Tomato (chopped)
  • 1 Green chilies (slit)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 0.5 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • to taste Salt

Instructions

  1. 1Blanch spinach in boiling water for 2 minutes. Drain and blend into a smooth puree.
  2. 2Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. 3Add chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
  4. 4Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute.
  5. 5Add chopped tomato and cook until softened.
  6. 6Stir in turmeric powder, red chili powder, and cumin powder. Cook for a minute.
  7. 7Add spinach puree, green chilies, and salt. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
  8. 8Add paneer cubes and garam masala. Mix gently.
  9. 9Stir in heavy cream and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  10. 10Serve hot with rice.
