  • 1 cup Sunflower Seeds
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. 1Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. 2In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  3. 3Continue to cook, without stirring, until the sugar turns a golden amber color.
  4. 4Stir in the sunflower seeds and ginger, then quickly add the vanilla extract.
  5. 5Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it out into a thin layer.
  6. 6Let it cool completely until hardened. Break into pieces and serve.
