Nigerian Pepper Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Goat meat
  • 6 cups Water
  • 3 tbsp Pepper soup spice mix
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1 Scotch bonnet pepper
  • 1 cup Yams
  • 1 cup Plantains
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 Beef bouillon cubes

Instructions

  1. 1Wash and cut the goat meat into bite-sized pieces.
  2. 2Place the meat in a pot and add water, chopped onion, scotch bonnet pepper, pepper soup spice mix, and bouillon cubes.
  3. 3Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the meat is tender.
  4. 4Add diced yams and plantains to the soup. Cook for another 10 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  5. 5Adjust seasoning with salt, if needed. Serve hot.
