  • 0.5 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 cup Water
  • 2 cup Vegetable Oil

Instructions

  1. 1In a bowl, combine rice flour, urad dal flour, asafoetida, cumin seeds, and salt.
  2. 2Gradually add water to the dry ingredients, mixing until a smooth and pliable dough is formed.
  3. 3Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. 4Place the dough into a murukku press with a spiral-shaped disc.
  5. 5Press the dough directly into the hot oil, forming spiral shapes.
  6. 6Fry the murukku until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  7. 7Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  8. 8Let cool completely before serving.
