Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mung Beans (split, hulled)
  • 2 cups Rice Flour
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 0.75 cup Sugar
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Shallots (fried)
  • 0.5 cup Water

Instructions

  1. 1Soak mung beans overnight. Steam until soft and mash into a paste. Mix with sugar, salt and shallots.
  2. 2Combine rice flour, oil, and water to form a dough. Rest for 20 minutes.
  3. 3Divide dough and mung bean filling into small portions.
  4. 4Wrap the filling with the dough and flatten into a disc.
  5. 5Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
