Ingredients

  • 8 cups Air-popped popcorn
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Saffron threads, crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon Fenugreek seeds, ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Place the 8 cups of air-popped popcorn into a large mixing bowl.
  2. 2In a small bowl, add the 1 teaspoon of ground ginger, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1/4 teaspoon of crushed saffron threads, 1/4 teaspoon of ground fenugreek seeds, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
  3. 3Pour the 2 tablespoons of olive oil into the small bowl with the dry spices. Whisk the olive oil and spice mixture together until all the spices are fully incorporated into the oil and the mixture is well combined.
  4. 4Pour the entire spice and oil mixture evenly over the 8 cups of air-popped popcorn in the large mixing bowl. Gently toss the popcorn with your hands or a large spoon for 1 to 2 minutes, continuing until every piece of popcorn is visibly coated with the spice mixture.
