Masa (Fermented Corn Dough)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Corn Dough
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil

Instructions

  1. 1In a bowl, combine the fermented corn dough, onion, ginger, and salt. Mix well.
  2. 2Heat vegetable oil in a special Masa pan or a regular skillet over medium heat.
  3. 3Pour the corn dough mixture into the pan, filling each mold or creating small patties.
  4. 4Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. 5Remove from pan and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
