Ingredients

  • 1 lb Salmon fillet, skinless
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce (tamari for gluten-free)
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp Green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2On a clean cutting board, cut the 1 lb Salmon fillet, skinless, into 1-inch cubes.
  3. 3In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the 1/4 cup Maple syrup, 2 tbsp Soy sauce (tamari for gluten-free), 2 cloves Garlic, minced, 1 tsp Ginger, grated, and 1 tsp Sesame oil until thoroughly combined.
  4. 4Add the cut salmon cubes to the bowl with the glaze. Gently toss the salmon until all cubes are evenly coated.
  5. 5Carefully spread the coated salmon cubes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they do not touch. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque throughout and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature of the thickest piece should reach 145°F (63°C).
  6. 6Garnish the baked salmon with the 1 tbsp Sesame seeds and the 2 tbsp Green onions, chopped, just before serving.
