Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken breast
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 12 Wooden skewers

Instructions

  1. 1Cut the 1 lb of chicken breast into 1-inch cubes.
  2. 2In a medium bowl, whisk together the 1/4 cup maple syrup, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 2 cloves minced garlic, and 1 tsp grated ginger until well combined.
  3. 3Add the 1 lb of chicken cubes to the bowl with the maple glaze and toss to coat evenly. Let the chicken marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature.
  4. 4Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the 12 wooden skewers, ensuring not to overcrowd them.
  5. 5Preheat your grill or a large skillet to medium heat (approximately 350°F or 175°C).
  6. 6Place the skewers in the preheated grill or skillet. Cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). The chicken should be golden brown and firm to the touch.
  7. 7Remove the skewers from the heat and let them rest for 2 minutes before serving warm.
