  • 1 lb Gluten-free macaroni pasta
  • 2 medium Potatoes, diced
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 4 cups Vegetable broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 cups Grated Gruyère cheese
  • 1 cup Grated Emmental cheese
  • 0.5 cup Apple sauce (optional)
  • 0.5 cup Fried onions (optional)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1In a large pot, combine gluten-free macaroni, diced potatoes, chopped onion, and vegetable broth.
  2. 2Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the gluten-free pasta and potatoes are tender.
  3. 3Stir in heavy cream, Gruyère cheese, and Emmental cheese. Continue stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
