Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 4 cups Cooked White Rice
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce (Tamari for Gluten-Free)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Season ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
  2. 2Cook patties in a skillet over medium heat until cooked through.
  3. 3Remove patties from skillet and set aside.
  4. 4In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until softened.
  5. 5Pour in beef broth, gluten-free soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer.
  6. 6In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water to form a slurry.
  7. 7Slowly add cornstarch slurry to the gravy, stirring constantly, until thickened.
  8. 8Place rice in a bowl, top with a hamburger patty, and smother with gravy.
