Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 cup Warm water
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons Za'atar spice blend
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil (for topping)

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. 2Add warm water and olive oil and mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. 5Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C).
  6. 6Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
  7. 7Roll each portion into a thin circle.
  8. 8Brush each circle with olive oil and sprinkle generously with za'atar spice blend.
  9. 9Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
