Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Dry Yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 cup Warm Water
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 4 tablespoons Za'atar Spice Blend

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. 2Add warm water and 2 tablespoons olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4Place the dough in a greased bowl, turning to coat. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  5. 5Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C).
  6. 6Punch down the dough and divide it into 4 equal portions.
  7. 7Roll each portion into a thin circle (about 8 inches in diameter).
  8. 8Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. 9Drizzle each flatbread with olive oil and spread with za'atar spice blend.
  10. 10Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. 11Serve hot.
