Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Arborio Rice
  • 2 cups Water
  • 4 cups Milk (Whole)
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Rose Water
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons Shredded Coconut (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. 1Rinse rice thoroughly. Add rice and water to saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. 2Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, or until rice is tender and water is absorbed.
  3. 3Add milk and sugar to the saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  4. 4Reduce heat to low and continue to simmer for 30 minutes, or until the pudding has thickened to your desired consistency, stirring frequently to prevent sticking.
  5. 5Stir in rose water and cinnamon.
  6. 6Pour the rice pudding into serving bowls.
  7. 7Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with shredded coconut.
