Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Halloumi Cheese (dairy)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 0.25 cup Fresh Mint
  • 0.5 cup Kalamata Olives
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice

Instructions

  1. 1Prepare the 8 ounces of Halloumi Cheese by slicing it into 1/4-inch thick pieces.
  2. 2Place a 10-inch skillet on the stovetop and add the 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil. Heat the skillet over medium heat, which is approximately 350°F (175°C).
  3. 3Carefully place the halloumi slices into the hot skillet. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, until the cheese is a deep golden brown and slightly softened. You should see it puff up slightly.
  4. 4Using a spatula, transfer the golden-brown halloumi slices to a serving plate.
  5. 5Evenly distribute the 0.25 cup of Fresh Mint and the 0.5 cup of Kalamata Olives over the fried halloumi.
  6. 6Drizzle the 1 tablespoon of Lemon Juice over the entire dish. Serve immediately while the halloumi is warm.
