Ingredients

  • 1 cup Glutinous Rice Flour
  • 2 tablespoons Tapioca Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Pandan Extract
  • 3/4 cup Warm Water
  • 1/2 cup Palm Sugar
  • 1 cup Grated Coconut
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. 1In a bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, tapioca flour, and pandan extract.
  2. 2Gradually add warm water, mixing until a smooth and pliable dough forms.
  3. 3Take a small amount of dough and flatten it. Place a small piece of palm sugar in the center.
  4. 4Shape the dough into a ball, ensuring the palm sugar is completely sealed inside.
  5. 5Bring a pot of water to a boil.
  6. 6Drop the rice balls into the boiling water. Cook until they float to the surface.
  7. 7Remove the rice balls from the water and drain.
  8. 8Roll the cooked rice balls in grated coconut mixed with a pinch of salt.
  9. 9Serve warm.
