Ingredients

  • 2 sheets Dairy-Free Puff Pastry
  • 500 g Sausage Meat
  • 1/4 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 medium Onion
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Mixed Herbs
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Dairy-Free Milk

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2In a large bowl, combine the 500g of sausage meat, 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs, 1/2 medium onion (finely chopped), 1 egg, 1 tsp of mixed herbs, 1/4 tsp of salt, and 1/4 tsp of pepper.
  3. 3Mix all the ingredients in the bowl thoroughly until they are well combined.
  4. 4Lay out the 2 sheets of dairy-free puff pastry. Divide the sausage meat mixture evenly onto each sheet, spreading it down the center.
  5. 5Carefully roll up each pastry sheet tightly, enclosing the sausage meat mixture to form two logs. Press the seam to seal.
  6. 6Cut each log into 6 equal pieces, creating individual sausage rolls. Place these onto a baking tray.
  7. 7Brush the tops of the sausage rolls with the 1 tbsp of dairy-free milk.
  8. 8Bake for 25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed up, and the sausage meat is cooked through. The internal temperature of the sausage meat should reach 160°F (71°C).
  9. 9Let the sausage rolls cool slightly before serving them warm or cold.
