Khubz Bread with Za'atar and Olive Oil

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Instant Yeast
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Warm Water
  • 0.25 cup Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Za'atar

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. 2Add warm water and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  5. 5Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C).
  6. 6Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
  7. 7Roll each portion into a thin circle, about 8 inches in diameter.
  8. 8Brush each circle with olive oil and sprinkle with za'atar.
  9. 9Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. 10Serve warm.
