Ingredients

  • 3 cups Grated cassava
  • 1 can Coconut milk
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Tapioca starch
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2In a large bowl, combine the 3 cups of grated cassava, the 1 can of coconut milk, the 1 cup of sugar, the 1/4 cup of tapioca starch, the 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and the 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Stir thoroughly with a whisk or spoon until all ingredients are evenly combined and the mixture forms a smooth batter.
  3. 3Pour the prepared batter evenly into a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  4. 4Bake the cake in the preheated 350°F (175°C) oven for 45 to 50 minutes. The cake is done when its top is golden brown and a wooden skewer or toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. 5Allow the Khoai mì nướng to cool completely in the 9x13 inch baking pan on a wire rack. This cooling process is essential for the cake to set properly, making it easier to slice into squares.
