Khameer Bread with Dates and Labneh (Peanut-Free)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup Barley Flour
  • 1 tsp Instant Yeast
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 cup Warm Water
  • 1 cup Dates
  • 1 cup Labneh

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine wheat flour, barley flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar.
  2. 2Add warm water and mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. 3Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  4. 4Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. 5Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a round loaf.
  6. 6Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. 7Serve warm with dates and labneh.
