Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Turkey
  • 3 tbsp Coconut Aminos
  • 2 tbsp Lime Juice
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/2 can Water Chestnuts
  • 2 each Green Onions
  • 1 head Lettuce Leaves

Instructions

  1. 1Place a 12-inch skillet over medium heat (325°F / 163°C).
  2. 2Add the 1 lb of ground turkey to the hot skillet. Cook, breaking it up into small pieces with a spoon, until it is no longer pink and is fully browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. 3Pour in the 3 tbsp of coconut aminos, 2 tbsp of lime juice, 1 tsp of ginger, 2 cloves of minced garlic, and 1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes. Stir everything together and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  4. 4Add the 1/2 can of water chestnuts and the 2 green onions, which have been sliced. Stir to combine everything in the skillet.
  5. 5Spoon the turkey mixture into the individual 1 head of lettuce leaves to create wraps.
