- 4In a large pot or Dutch oven, layer the bottom with chopped bacon. Arrange the cabbage rolls on top of the bacon.
- 5Pour the tomato sauce over the cabbage rolls. Add enough water to cover the rolls.
- 6Bring to a simmer, then cover and cook for 90 minutes, or until the cabbage is very tender.
