Ingredients

  • 1 lb Crab Meat
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Aminos
  • 4 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 2-3 Red Chilies
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tbsp Lime Juice
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Xanthan Gum
  • 4 cups Cauliflower Rice
  • 2 Green Onions

Instructions

  1. 1Prepare the chilli sauce by blending red chilies, garlic, and ginger into a paste.
  2. 2In a wok or large pan, heat olive oil and sauté the chilli paste until fragrant.
  3. 3Add tomato paste and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. 4Stir in coconut aminos and lime juice. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. 5Whisk the egg and slowly drizzle it into the sauce, stirring constantly to create a thickened texture (emulsification).
  6. 6Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. 7Add the crab meat to the sauce and cook for another 5 minutes, ensuring it is heated through.
  8. 8For thickening, mix xanthan gum with a little water and add to sauce gradually until desired consistency is achieved.
  9. 9Serve the chilli crab over cauliflower rice and garnish with chopped green onions.
