Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 0.5 lb Ground Pork
  • 0.25 cup Almond Flour
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.5 medium Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 6 oz Tomato Paste
  • 14 oz Crushed Tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, almond flour, egg, chopped onion, and minced garlic.
  2. 2Season with salt and pepper. Mix well and form into small meatballs.
  3. 3In a large skillet, brown the meatballs on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  4. 4In the same skillet, add tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, beef broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
  5. 5Return the meatballs to the skillet and simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
  6. 6Serve hot over cauliflower mash.
