Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Pork Ribs
  • 8 cups Water
  • 8 cloves Garlic
  • 3 pieces Star Anise
  • 1 piece Cinnamon Stick
  • 1 tbsp White Peppercorns
  • 6 pieces Cloves
  • 2 tbsp Light Soy Sauce (Gluten-Free Tamari)
  • 1 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce (Gluten-Free)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 8 oz Mushroom

Instructions

  1. 1Blanch pork ribs in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain and rinse.
  2. 2In a large pot or Dutch oven, combine pork ribs, water, garlic, star anise, cinnamon stick, white peppercorns, and cloves.
  3. 3Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 hours, or until pork ribs are tender.
  4. 4Add salt, gluten-free tamari, and gluten-free dark soy sauce.
  5. 5Simmer for another 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  6. 6Add mushroom and cook for 5 min.
  7. 7Serve hot.
