Ingredients

  • 2 medium Potatoes
  • 1/2 cup Cassava Flour
  • 1/4 cup Gram Flour (Besan)
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 small Green Chili
  • 2 tbsp Cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil

Instructions

  1. 1Peel and thinly slice the potatoes.
  2. 2In a bowl, mix cassava flour, gram flour, water, chopped green chili, chopped cilantro, cumin powder, turmeric powder, and salt to form a smooth batter.
  3. 3Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot over medium heat.
  4. 4Dip each potato slice in the batter, ensuring it is well coated.
  5. 5Carefully drop the coated potato slices into the hot oil, a few at a time.
  6. 6Fry for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. 7Remove the bhajia with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
