Ingredients

  • 1 each Pork Shoulder (4-5 lb)
  • 2 tbsp Hawaiian Sea Salt
  • 1 tbsp Liquid Smoke
  • 2 each Mango (diced)
  • 1/2 each Red Onion (diced)
  • 1 each Jalapeño (minced, optional)
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Lime Juice
  • 6 each Slider Buns

Instructions

  1. 1Rub the pork shoulder with Hawaiian sea salt and liquid smoke.
  2. 2Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours, or until very tender.
  3. 3Shred the pork with two forks.
  4. 4In a bowl, combine diced mango, red onion, jalapeño (if using), cilantro, and lime juice to make the mango salsa.
  5. 5Assemble the sliders by placing shredded Kalua pig on slider buns and topping with mango salsa.
