Ingredients
- 3 lbs Pork shoulder
- 2 tbsp Hawaiian sea salt
- 1 tsp Liquid smoke
- 12 rolls Sweet Hawaiian rolls
- 2 cups Coleslaw
Instructions
- 1In a large bowl, combine the 3 lbs pork shoulder with the 2 tbsp Hawaiian sea salt and the 1 tsp liquid smoke. Rub this mixture thoroughly over all surfaces of the pork shoulder.
- 2Carefully place the seasoned 3 lbs pork shoulder into a slow cooker.
- 3Cover the slow cooker and cook on the "low" setting for 8 hours. The pork is done when it is very tender, easily pulls apart with a fork, and reaches an internal temperature of at least 195°F (90.5°C).
- 4Carefully remove the cooked 3 lbs pork shoulder from the slow cooker and place it on a clean cutting board. Using two forks, shred the pork into bite-sized pieces.
- 5Slice each of the 12 Sweet Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Spoon a generous amount of the shredded pork onto the bottom half of each roll.
- 6Top the shredded pork on each slider with a portion of the 2 cups Coleslaw. Place the top half of each roll back onto the bottom half to complete the sliders.
