Ingredients

  • 4 lbs Pork shoulder
  • 2 tbsp Hawaiian sea salt
  • 1 tbsp Liquid smoke
  • 0.5 cup Water

Instructions

  1. 1Rub the pork shoulder with Hawaiian sea salt and liquid smoke.
  2. 2Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker or Instant Pot.
  3. 3Add water to the bottom of the slow cooker/Instant Pot.
  4. 4Cook on low for 8 hours in a slow cooker, or on high pressure for 90 minutes in an Instant Pot, followed by a natural pressure release.
  5. 5Shred the pork with two forks.
  6. 6Serve with rice and sides.
