Ingredients

  • 2 medium Japanese Sweet Potatoes (Satsumaimo)
  • 2 tablespoons Avocado Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Curry Powder

Instructions

  1. 1Set your oven to preheat to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2Wash and then peel the 2 medium Japanese Sweet Potatoes. Carefully cut each sweet potato lengthwise into 1/4-inch thick sticks.
  3. 3Place all of the cut sweet potato sticks onto a large baking sheet. Drizzle the 2 tablespoons of Avocado Oil over them. Sprinkle the 1 teaspoon of Sea Salt and the 1/2 teaspoon of Curry Powder evenly over the sweet potatoes.
  4. 4Toss everything together directly on the baking sheet with your hands or tongs until all the sweet potato sticks are thoroughly coated with the oil and seasonings.
  5. 5Arrange the seasoned sweet potato sticks in a single layer on the same large baking sheet, making sure no pieces are overlapping.
  6. 6Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. After 12 to 15 minutes, carefully remove the baking sheet from the oven and use tongs or a spatula to flip each sweet potato stick. Return the baking sheet to the oven and continue baking until the fries are golden brown and crispy to the touch.
  7. 7Serve the Japanese Sweet Potato Fries with Curry Salt immediately.
