Ingredients

  • 1 cup Steel-cut oats
  • 3 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Raisins
  • 2 tbsp Irish whiskey
  • 4 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. 1In a small bowl, soak raisins in Irish whiskey for at least 15 minutes.
  2. 2In a saucepan, combine steel-cut oats, milk, water, and salt.
  3. 3Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until the oatmeal is creamy and the liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally.
