Ingredients

  • 8 pieces Chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
  • 1/2 cup Soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Pineapple juice
  • 2 teaspoons Ginger
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 2 stalks Green onions

Instructions

  1. 1In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, pineapple juice, ginger, garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  2. 2Place the chicken thighs in a large resealable bag or container. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is coated. Marinate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, in the refrigerator.
  3. 3Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  4. 4Remove the chicken from the marinade, discarding the marinade.
  5. 5Grill the chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the juices run clear.
