Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Chicken Thighs
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce (Shoyu)
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1/4 cup Pineapple Juice
  • 2 stalks Green Onions
  • 8 Wooden Skewers

Instructions

  1. 1Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. 2Cut chicken thighs into 1-inch cubes.
  3. 3In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and pineapple juice.
  4. 4Marinate chicken in the mixture for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator).
  5. 5Thread chicken onto skewers, alternating with green onions.
  6. 6Grill over medium heat for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until chicken is cooked through.
  7. 7Garnish with extra green onions if desired and serve.
