Ingredients

  • 1 block Firm Tofu
  • 1/4 cup Black Bean Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Broccoli Florets
  • 1 medium Bell Pepper
  • 1 cup Snap Peas
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger

Instructions

  1. 1Press the tofu: Wrap the tofu in paper towels and press for at least 30 minutes to remove excess water. Cut the tofu into 1/2-inch thick slices.
  2. 2Make the sauce: In a bowl, whisk together black bean sauce, soy sauce, and sugar.
  3. 3Grill the tofu: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Brush tofu slices with some of the black bean sauce. Grill for 3-4 minutes per side, or until grill marks appear.
  4. 4Stir-fry the vegetables: Heat vegetable oil in a wok or skillet over high heat. Add broccoli florets, bell pepper, and snap peas. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes, or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for another minute.
  5. 5Serve: Toss the stir-fried vegetables with the remaining black bean sauce. Serve over grilled tofu.
