Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Dark Roast Coffee
  • 4 oz Hot Water
  • 2 tbsp Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 cup Ice

Instructions

  1. 1Place the Vietnamese coffee filter (phin) over a heatproof glass. Add the 2 tbsp Dark Roast Coffee to the filter.
  2. 2Carefully pour the 4 oz Hot Water over the coffee grounds in the filter. Allow the coffee to brew directly into the glass below. This should take about 3-5 minutes, and you will see the coffee dripping steadily.
  3. 3While the coffee is brewing, measure the 2 tbsp Sweetened Condensed Milk into the bottom of a separate serving glass.
  4. 4Once the coffee has finished brewing, carefully remove the filter. Pour the hot, brewed coffee from the first glass into the serving glass containing the 2 tbsp Sweetened Condensed Milk.
  5. 5Stir the coffee and condensed milk together very well until the condensed milk is fully dissolved into the coffee. This may take 1-2 minutes of vigorous stirring.
  6. 6Fill the serving glass with the 1 cup Ice. Stir briefly to chill the coffee.
  7. 7Enjoy your Gluten-Free Vietnamese Coffee (Ca Phe Sua Da) immediately.
