Ingredients

  • 8 links Gluten-Free Sausages
  • 1 cup Gluten-Free Flour
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 large Onions
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2Place the gluten-free sausages in a baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
  3. 3While the sausages are baking, whisk together the gluten-free flour, eggs, and milk until smooth.
  4. 4Remove the baking dish from the oven and pour the gluten-free batter over the sausages.
  5. 5Bake for another 20-25 minutes, or until the batter is puffed up and golden brown.
  6. 6While the toad in the hole is baking, slice the onions thinly.
  7. 7Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 20-25 minutes.
  8. 8In a small bowl, whisk together the beef broth and cornstarch until smooth.
  9. 9Pour the beef broth mixture into the skillet with the caramelized onions. Add the Worcestershire sauce and simmer until the gravy has thickened, about 5 minutes.
  10. 10Serve the toad in the hole with the onion gravy.
