Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1/2 lb Ground Pork
  • 1/2 cup Gluten-Free Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Onion
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 head Cauliflower
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon White Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, gluten-free breadcrumbs, egg, milk, and chopped onion. Season with salt and white pepper. Mix well and form into small meatballs.
  2. 2Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides. Remove meatballs and set aside.
  3. 3Pour beef broth into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Add heavy cream and cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. 4Return the meatballs to the skillet and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  5. 5While meatballs are simmering, steam the cauliflower until tender. Mash with a fork or potato masher until smooth.
  6. 6Serve the Swedish meatballs over cauliflower mash.
