Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rice Flour
  • 1/2 cup Tapioca Starch
  • 1 cup Hot Water
  • 1/4 cup Cold Water
  • 4 stalks Green Onions
  • 3 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Cooking Oil

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine rice flour and tapioca starch.
  2. 2Gradually add the hot water, mixing with chopsticks or a fork until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. 3Add the cold water and knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let rest for 15 minutes.
  4. 4Finely chop the green onions. In a small bowl, mix with sesame oil and salt.
  5. 5Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. On a lightly floured surface, roll out each portion into a thin circle.
  6. 6Brush each circle with the green onion mixture. Roll up tightly into a log, then coil into a spiral. Flatten the spiral into a pancake.
  7. 7Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the pancakes for about 5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
