  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Potato Starch
  • 1 tablespoon Matcha Powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1In a microwave-safe bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, sugar, and matcha powder (if using).
  2. 2Gradually add water, mixing until a smooth batter forms.
  3. 3Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir well.
  4. 4Microwave for another 1-2 minutes, or until the mixture is translucent and sticky. Stir again.
  5. 5Dust a clean surface with potato starch. Transfer the mochi dough onto the surface.
  6. 6Let it cool slightly, then shape into small balls. Coat each ball with potato starch.
