Ingredients

  • 1 lb Gluten-Free Yakisoba Noodles
  • 1 lb Beef Sirloin
  • 1/2 head Cabbage
  • 1 large Carrot
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1 medium Bell Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Yakisoba Sauce (Gluten-Free)
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • 2 stalks Green Onions

Instructions

  1. 1Using a sharp knife, slice the 1 lb beef sirloin across the grain into 1/8-inch thick strips. Cut the 1/2 head of cabbage into 1/4-inch wide shreds, and julienne the 1 large carrot into 1/8-inch by 2-inch sticks. Slice the 1 medium onion and the 1 medium bell pepper into 1/4-inch thick strips, then chop the 2 stalks of green onions into 1/4-inch pieces.
  2. 2Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil over high heat, which is about 212°F (100°C). Add the 1 lb gluten-free yakisoba noodles and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the noodles are tender but still firm to the bite; drain them thoroughly in a colander and set aside.
  3. 3Heat the 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large 12-inch skillet or wok over medium-high heat, which is about 375°F (190°C). Add the 1 lb of sliced beef sirloin and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is browned on all sides and no longer pink in the center, reaching an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  4. 4Add the shredded 1/2 head of cabbage, julienned 1 large carrot, sliced 1 medium onion, and sliced 1 medium bell pepper to the skillet with the beef. Continue to stir-fry for another 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the vegetables are tender-crisp, meaning they are softened but still retain a slight crunch.
  5. 5Add the cooked 1 lb gluten-free yakisoba noodles and the 1/2 cup of gluten-free yakisoba sauce to the skillet. Use tongs to gently toss all ingredients together until the noodles and vegetables are evenly coated with the sauce, then cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until everything is heated through and steaming.
  6. 6Remove the skillet from the heat. Drizzle the 1 teaspoon of sesame oil over the stir-fry, then sprinkle with the 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds and the chopped 2 stalks of green onions.
  7. 7Serve the Gluten-Free Beef and Vegetable Yakisoba immediately while hot.
