Ingredients

  • 1 box Gluten-Free Phyllo Dough
  • 2 Apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 cup Melted Butter (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 2 tbsp Gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2In a bowl, combine the diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  3. 3Melt butter (or dairy-free alternative).
  4. 4Lightly brush each sheet of gluten-free phyllo dough with melted butter and sprinkle with gluten-free breadcrumbs.
  5. 5Layer 3-4 sheets of phyllo dough on top of each other.
  6. 6Place a portion of the apple mixture along one edge of the phyllo dough.
  7. 7Roll the phyllo dough over the filling to create a log. Cut the log into bite-sized pieces.
  8. 8Place the apple strudel bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. 9Brush the tops of the strudel bites with melted butter.
  10. 10Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. 11Let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.
