Ingredients

  • 2 Bitter melon (ampalaya)
  • 1/2 lb Ground pork
  • 2 Tomato
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Cooking oil
  • 1/2 cup Silken Tofu

Instructions

  1. 1Slice bitter melon thinly, remove seeds, and soak in salted water for 15 minutes to reduce bitterness. Rinse and drain well.
  2. 2Heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic, onion, and tomato until softened.
  3. 3Add ground pork and cook until browned.
  4. 4Add bitter melon and cook until slightly softened.
  5. 5Add soy sauce and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
