Ingredients

  • 8 cups Stale Bread, cubed
  • 1.5 cups Plant-Based Milk
  • 0.5 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Nutritional Yeast
  • 0.5 cup All-Purpose Flour (Gluten-Free)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper
  • 4 cups Vegetable Broth, for simmering

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, soak the cubed bread in plant-based milk for 10 minutes.
  2. 2In a skillet, sauté chopped onion until softened.
  3. 3Add sautéed onion and parsley to the bread mixture. Mix well.
  4. 4Stir in nutritional yeast, flour, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  5. 5Shape the mixture into dumplings, about 3 inches in diameter.
  6. 6Bring vegetable broth to a simmer in a large pot. Gently place the dumplings into the simmering broth.
  7. 7Simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until the dumplings are firm.
  8. 8Remove dumplings from the broth with a slotted spoon and serve hot.
