Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Plant-based milk
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Flaxseed meal
  • 6 tbsp Water
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 medium Apples
  • 2 tbsp Vegan butter

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. 2Mix flaxseed meal and water, let sit for 5 minutes.
  3. 3In a large bowl, whisk together flour, plant-based milk, sugar, flaxseed mixture, vanilla extract, and salt.
  4. 4Melt vegan butter in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  5. 5Arrange apple slices in the skillet.
  6. 6Pour the batter over the apples.
  7. 7Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
  8. 8Dust with powdered sugar (optional) and serve warm.
