Ingredients

  • 1 lb Small Potatoes
  • 3 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Rice Syrup (Jocheong) or Corn Syrup
  • 0.5 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tsp Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1Scrub the potatoes clean and cut them into bite-sized pieces if they are large.
  2. 2In a pot or pan, combine soy sauce, sugar, rice syrup (or corn syrup), and water.
  3. 3Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.
  4. 4Add the potatoes to the sauce and cook until they are tender and the sauce has thickened and glazed the potatoes, about 15-20 minutes.
  5. 5Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  6. 6Stir in the sesame oil.
  7. 7Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
