Ingredients

  • 2 large Potatoes, grated
  • 1/4 medium Onion, grated
  • 2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce (for dipping)
  • 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. 1Grate the potatoes and onion using a box grater or food processor.
  2. 2Place the grated potatoes and onion in a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth. Squeeze out as much excess water as possible.
  3. 3In a bowl, combine the squeezed-out potato and onion mixture with flour, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. 4Heat vegetable oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  5. 5Drop spoonfuls of the potato mixture into the skillet, forming small pancakes.
  6. 6Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  7. 7In a small bowl, mix soy sauce and rice vinegar for dipping.
  8. 8Serve the potato pancakes hot, with the dipping sauce.
